The first two rounds of the 2021 Lithgow Golf Club Centennial Championships were held on the weekend with big fields having to contend with intermittent showers especially on Sunday.

After the first two rounds in the race for the 2021 title young Brock Egan has opened up a five shot lead after returning rounds of 70 and 73 for a total of 143.
The closet to him is the experienced Justin McCann who has shot rounds of 71 and 77 for a total of 148 while Chris Neville is near by with two rounds of 75 for a total of 150 as is Damien Marjoram who is also on 150 following his 74 and 76.
Results of Saturday's round were:
The best nett score came out of A grade with Craig McManus playing some excellent golf to finish with 67 nett.
Unfortunately McManus is not competing in the championships due to work commitments, but he as still happy with his winning form.
Runner up to McManus was Justin McCann on 69 nett.
Best scratch score went to Brock Egan (plus 2) with a two under par 70 which was great golf considering the course was set up for championship conditions.
In B grade, Dave Hicks (13) was best with a 68 nett with the runner up voucher going to Dean Stafford (15) on 69 nett.
Best scratch score went to Peter Hall with 81.

In C grade, the good form of Graeme Osborne (26) continues and after finishing runner up in the past two competitions, he cracked it for a win with a 70 nett.
John Griffiths (21) was runner up on 73 nett and the best scratch score went to Leo Murnane (21) with a 91.
Nearest to the pins were Darren Hunter, Anthony Oldfield, Michael Hunter, Craig McManus and Rob Hawes.
Vouchers went down to those with 73 nett and better.
The championships will continue on Saturday and Sunday with the scratch leaders in each grade being: Brock Egan in A grade (143); Kobe Hunter in B grade (162) and Leo Murnane in C grade (192).
The handicap leaders are Justin McCann in A grade (144 nett); B grade Dean Stafford (140 nett) and C grade Graeme Osborne (145 nett).
The winner of the Wednesday, March 10 was Graham Dean on 23 points.
Runner up was Nev Kerrison on 19 points on a count back from third placed Dave Warren. Vouchers went down to those with 16 points and better.
