Charlie brought home both a silver and bronze medal while Alex managed to get a personal best time.
Charlie came second in the 50 metre breast stroke, third in the 100 metre breast stroke and was second fastest in the 11/12 years 200 metre breast stroke relay where his team earned a ribbon.
"I really enjoy swimming, it is really fun and I enjoy the competition," he said.
Charlie has been swimming for around four years and trains around four to five times a week.
A goal that Charlie has is to make the state carnival, and more so, to win.
"I want to try and win a medal at state," he said.
Alex came 12th in the 100 metre butterfly, 11th in the 100 metre breaststroke and got a personal best time in the 100 metre backstroke.

"But freestyle is probably my favourite stroke," he said.
Alex took up swimming after he went to a carnival and really enjoyed it, and has now been swimming non stop for the past five years.
"I train once or twice a day, five to six days a week," he said.
Alex set the goal of becoming Age Champion at the Annual Mountains and Plains swimming championships, which he succeeded in doing.
"I was actually really happy to get that, it meant a lot to me," he said.
Alex also hoped to do well at the junior state championships where he will be competing in eight different events.
"I really like swimming and racing against other kids," he said.
