One of the Lithgow Golf Club's 'blue ribbon' events will be played on Saturday, February 27 when the Gold Medal Play Offs will be staged with those having won Monthly Medals during the year of 2020 will be playing off for gold.

The Medals are sponsored by Henry's Plant and Equipment Hire and a big thanks goes out to them for their support of local golf.
Those that have won medals in two grades will play off only in the grade that they won their first medal.
There has been those that have excelled during the year winning multiple medals and some of the most successful has been Damien Marjoram with a total of three and he will be keen to add a shiny gold one to his collection.
Luke Oldfield has also enjoyed success having won one in C grade and two in B grade.

Two youngsters Mitchell Wallace and Nathan Marshall have got off to an early start in their golfing careers with two each joining Hayden Cornwell and Brian Giblett as two timers.
Those who have qualified for the Gold Medal Play off for each month in A, B and C grade sequence are:
- January: Harry Bender, Kobe Hunter and Mick Stafford.
- February: Damien Marjoram, Tallan Egan and Steve Jennings.
- March: Max McCann, Dave Hicks and Mitchell Wallace.
- April: Brian Judge, Gary Keen and Brian Giblett.
- May: Gary Wallace, Ben Oldfield and Luke Oldfield.
- June: Damien Marjoram, Michael Saville and Mitchell Nathan Marshall.
- July: Paul Bosman, Brandon Lloyd and Mitchell Wallace.
- August: Ross Harrington, Luke Oldfield and Gary Marshall.
- September: Andrew Burton, Luke Oldfield and Hayden Cornwell.
- October: Blake Bender, Eli Felton and Hayden Cornwell.
- November: Darren Hunter, Lleyton Guest and Brian Giblett.
- December: Damien Marjoram, Ken Mitchell and Nathan Marshall.
For the rest of the field not eligible to play in the Gold Medal playoff, they will be playing for the 2021 March Monthly Medal which will be played in conjunction with a stroke event.
