"We're thrilled that this show is not only going to be the first major production in the newly renovated theatre but also that it will be our first show in over 18 months with all our activities placed on hold in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic," Lithgow Musical Society president Paul Goodwin said.
Current plans are for the show to be staged in early August, however this is of course subject to the impact of any COVID related restrictions.
The Society will be holding an information evening at the Union Theatre on Monday, February 22 from 7:30pm where they will let people know about the plans for the show and the audition process.
Auditions for the principal roles will follow on Thursday, February 25, Monday March 1 and Thursday, March 4.

As with all their shows they don't require auditions to be part of the chorus.
Rehearsals will then resume on Monday's and Thursday's from March 8 at the Union Theatre.
"Rehearsals will be conducted in line with COVID safe guidelines that limit us to five people singing at any one time and everyone will need to be able to scan in using the Service NSW app," Mr Goodwin said.
Anyone interested in being part of the show, either on stage or behind the scenes, is encouraged to come to the information night on February 22nd.
If you can't make it please get in touch with the society by messaging their page.
