A man has been transported to Lithgow Hospital after a single-vehicle truck accident on the Castlereagh Highway south of Mudgee on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Ilford, about 50 kilometres south of Mudgee, at about 6.30am, where a truck with occupants had run off the road.
Both occupants, a man and a woman, were able to exit the vehicle however both were suffering minor injuries and were assessed by the one NSW Ambulance crew on site.
The man, suffering rib injuries, was conveyed to Lithgow Hospital in a stable condition while the woman was assessed on site by paramedics, with no transport to hospital needed.
Traffic was reportedly affected in both directions on the highway and, as of 7.40am, motorists in the area were advised to exercise caution in the area.
