Lithgow couple Kaleb Richey and Shanaya Callaghan have welcomed a new bundle of joy to the world just in time for the new year.

Baby Quade was born at Bathurst Base Hospital on New Years Eve at 3.50pm and is the perfect baby brother to Hudson.
"It was so amazing to finally be able to hold our little man and have such a positive end to the year that for many including ourselves was for the most part really difficult and negative," Shanaya said.

The Brikha family of Lidsdale, have welcomed the new year with a new addition to their family. Isaac was born at 11.55am at Nepean Hospital on New Years Day.
He is loved by parents Esho and Samantha and his brother Elias.
"After all the events of 2020, we are happy to welcome our baby into the world on the first day of 2021," Esho said.
"A new year is a powerful occasion it's a time when we reflect on our gratitude for the past and our hopes for the future. And it's a chance to welcome a fresh start to reinvigorate our enthusiasm for chasing goals and dreams," he said.
The Ray family welcomed Archer James Ray into the world on January, 5.
He was born at Lithgow Hospital at 11.59am and is very loved by mum Emma, dad Brenton and siblings Oliver and Ariana.
"We are all very excited to have him join our family. Oliver and Ariana are so excited to have a baby to look after, seeing their instant love they have for him is amazing," Brenton said.
The Ray family hope 2021 brings some relief from COVID and a normal way of life.

"...and for our family, another year of growth and experiences. We are all very excited becoming a family of five and can't wait to see what the future holds," Brenton said.
They also thanked the staff at Lithgow Hospital and support from family and friends.
