A couple of golfers had a belated Christmas present when they scored placings in the Boxing Day stableford at the Lithgow Golf Club.

The best score of the day went to Chris Keller when he amassed a score of 41 points.
Keller who plays off a handicap of 13, has been in good form of late after enjoying considerable success in the recent Lithgow Open.
Harry Bender was on fire shooting a two under par 70 to amass 40 points. Playing off a handicap of 2, Bender picked up the second place voucher.
In third place was 10 marker Peter Hall with a score of 39 points.
Brad Gordon saved his best shot of the day to the last hole when his tee shot finished 30cms from the hole earning him $250 for the pro pin and an extra $10 for the nearest to the pin which was a welcome late Christmas present.
Other nearest to the pins were Damien Marjoram, Peter Hall, Dave Travis (Bathurst) and Max McCann.

Those to play well and figure in the vouchers that went down to 32 points on a countback were Al Glendinning, Brad Preston, Jeff Geddes, Brock Egan, Dave Marshall, Blake Goldspink, Max McCann, Paul Stewart, Leo Murnane, John Bird, Justin Nelson, Nathan Marshall and Max Nightingale.
Wednesday, December 23 nine hole competition:Al Glendinning finished first with a score of 25 points, followed by runner up Sam Forbes on 22 and Dave Duroux third on 21 points.
Vouchers went to those with 18 points and better and they were Kev Hughes, Luke Bennett, Graeme Dean, Warren Kennedy, Wayne Morris, Steve McCann, John Bird, Ken Durie, Al Mostyn and the countback King Max Nightingale.
Nearest to the pins were Rob George and Kev Hughes.
