A police officer has been charged over alleged firearms offences following a search of his home last night. The office was charged with seven offences including possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, not keep firearm safely-prohibited firearm, possess unregistered firearm-prohibited firearm, acquire unregistered firearm-prohibited firearm, acquire firearm no licence or permit-prohibited firearm, acquire firearm no permit to acquire-prohibited firearm, and Holder of Category A or B licence not have approved storage.
