Giblett who plays off 19 has been a consistent performer over the past couple of months and looks to have certainly come to terms with his "new knees".

It took a countback for him to win the C grade stroke voucher when he counted out runner up Rob George after both finished with 68 nett.

The pair will now play off for the medal next month.

The best scratch score went to Paul Bailey with a 91.

A countback was also needed in A grade when winner Darren Hunter (2) counted out Travis Cameron (5) when both carded 67 netts.

With Hunter winning the stroke, Cameron then took the scratch with his 72 off the stick with the runner up voucher going to Shane Monaghan (9) on 69 nett.

It was a top round by Hunter who shot a three under par 69 and is coming into top form at the right time for next weekend's Lithgow Open.

The A grade October medal playoff was won by Blake Bender while this month's medal will be played off next month between Hunter and Cameron.Winner of the B grade stroke and medal was Lleyton Guest (15) who finished with 68 nett.

Runner up was Steve May (15) on 70 nett and the scratch event went to Grahame Dean (11) with a 83.

Nearest to the pins went to Troy Luka, Dave Thompson, Greg Giblett, Max McCann and Mitch Luka.

Vouchers went down to those with 74 nett and better and they were Max Nightingale, Dave Thompson, Craig McManus, Al Mostyn, Rod Clarke, Greg Guest, Brock Egan, Carlos Garibotto, Eli Felton, Justin McCann, Justin Nelson, Pat Wall, Anthony Oldfield, Paul Stewart, Trevor Cameron, Andrew Burton, Anthony Boza, Nathan Marshall, Dave Titcume, Rob Hawes, Rod Bright and Blake Bender.

The winner of the Wednesday, November 25 nine hole competition was John Bird with 22 points ocb, runner up was Karl Hall 22 ocb and third was Paul Stewart 22 points.

Vouchers went down to those with 17 points ocb and they were Al Mostyn, Max Nightingale, Rob Peachman, Steve McCann, Anthony Oldfield, Mark Bennett, Ross Harrington, Graham Dean, Kev Hughes, Leo Murnane, Chris Keller, Brendan Swift and Geoff Dukes.

Nearest to the pins were Michael Bennett and Ken Durie.

The Friday, November 27 nine hole competition winner was Al Glendinning on 22 points ocb from Michael Bennett 22 points.

Vouchers went down to those with 18 points and better and they were Gary Marshall, Max Nightingale and Paul Stewart.

Nearest to the pin was Bill Oldfield.

It will be a big weekend of golf at the club starting on Saturday with the staging of the short course championship sponsored by the "friends of the late Peter Newham and Brian Whichelo".

On Sunday Westfund will be sponsoring the Lithgow Open with a big field vying for this prestigious honour.
