For Volleys, there were determined and valiant tennis shots by Cheryl Gillespie and Robyn Patterson but they couldn't stop Kristy Gaudry's hard well placed serves or Pat Kearns consistency to lead Rallies to a 36-18 victory.
For Sharks, Leanne Morgan's electric serves and defensive play by Jenny Brown could not stop their opposition's march to a win. Tania Sharp's crisp ground strokes combined with Susan John's good net coverage enabled Aces to enjoy a 35-19 triumph.
