A total of 10,000 rainbow trout fingering were released into Lake Wallace on Wednesday, November 18.

Lake Lyell received 15,000 while Lake Pillans received 500.
Wallerawang Central Acclimatisation Society secretary Ray Tang said the fish would take around 12 months to get to 25cm.
"These fish help bolster fish stocks in our waterways for recreational fishing," he said.

Mr Tang encouraged anglers to get out and drop a line in.
"With the seasonal rains we have had since the start of Spring, the fishing should be more consistent so it will be a great time to get out there and wet a line," he said.
He also reminded people to be cautious for snakes near wetlands with the warm weather.
