First on the agenda was a trip to Jennifer Edwards' three year-old garden at Little Hartley where members enjoyed morning tea before taking in the property's spectacular, picturesque views.
Next in their travels members visited Hartley Historic Cemetery where Margaret Coombs and Bob Morris took them on a tour and talked about the history of the cemetery.
Then it was a quick stop for lunch and a drive through the burnt out countryside to Clarence.
Members saw Bill Grattan's remodelled nursery where they purchased plenty of new additions for their own gardens.
Garden Club's Robyn da Costa said it was a pleasant day out and they were lucky the storms held off.
