This year has been an extremely challenging one for our Local Health District, with drought, bushfires, floods and the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a year defined by moments of joy, moments of courage and moments of thanks, the local community are invited to take part in this year's NBMLHD Annual Public Meeting, delivered in a new and COVID-safe format.
To ensure everyone can safely participate in this year's meeting, it will be taken online and broadcast live to Facebook from the site of the new Nepean Hospital.
Tune in to see a behind the scenes tour on the construction site, find out what their health services have been doing and importantly, provide your feedback.
A live question and answer segment with NBMLHD Chief Executive Kay Hyman will also give people the opportunity to receive answers to their questions in real-time.
Mrs Hyman said the past year has highlighted the importance of healthcare for the whole community.
"2020 has been a difficult one for so many. Now more than ever, it's important that we hear from you, our community, to find out how we're doing and to ensure that we're delivering the services you need," Mrs Hyman said.
The annual public meeting for 2019/2020 will take place here on Thursday, November 26 from 4pm.
