The funds were raised at the club's 'Support our Firies' event back in March this year.
The event was supported with many auction items provided by the Lithgow Workmen's Club, members of the Lithgow Community, Sydney Roosters NRL, Penrith Panthers NRL, Canterbury Bulldogs NRL, New Zealand Warriors NRL, Robert Oatley Wines, and an inspirational painting by talented Lithgow Artist Jayde Lutschini titled 'Bear Witness'.

Jayde's artwork depicted members of the RFS at the fire front.
The Lithgow Workmen's Club purchased the painting where it is now proudly displayed in the Club's Long Wall Gallery as a stark reminder of the 'Black Fires' of December 2019.
Lithgow RFS members Gary Hanson and David Peters spoke in glowing terms of the club's contribution to the RFS and community during the megafires.
They were grateful of the financial support, provision of food and drinks during fires and unwavering support and commitment to the Lithgow community from the club over many years.
