Lithgow residents have plenty of giving spirit, as seen with the hardworking Operation Christmas Child members and volunteers.
The group has already sent 836 boxes to the NSW warehouse for shipping overseas.
Val Morris said that it was thanks to the generous community that 485 of those boxes have been funded so far.
The group plans on having a final packing day on Monday, October 26 at Lithgow Baptist Church on the Great Western Highway and Lee Street.
The packing day will start at 10.30am and everyone is invited to join.
The group will then be having a garage sale on Saturday, October 31 from 9am to 2pm at Back Lane, 79 Cupro Street on their closing day.
Money boxes will also be due in that week as well.
Ms Morris said to remember that it isn't too late to prepare gift boxes of six 'Somethings'.
The boxes can be handed in at the Professionals Real Estate during business hours.
"All donations are welcome as our usual fundraisers have been severely restricted this year and $10 is required to get each of our shoeboxes to needy children in the South Pacific," she said.
