Lithgow Workies Wolves RLFC will be holding their annual general meeting this Sunday, October 25 at 11am at the Lithgow Workies Club.
All past and present players, members and committee members are encourage to attend to have your say in the future of this fantastic Club.
All positions are up for nominations and again we encourage people who want to be involved and have their say on the direction of this proud Club please attend.
With this season being surrounded by the COVID-19 Pandemic, the uncertainty of playing and then restrictions, it has been tough year for both committee and players and we are hoping the 2021 season will look a lot different.
This season the Western Rams managed to field the U/18's Youth League competition which Workies Wolves were involved in and it was great to see our talented U/18's coached by Ben Lane, get out there and have a crack, which will help with experience for 2021 season.
It was a shame that our Premier League Coaches Corey Willmott and Greg Behan didn't have the opportunity to show off their team as they had prepared well at the start of the year to really give the competition a shake, as did our First Division coach Jimmy Reinhardt who was tracking well to go back to back with his premiership winning side of 2019.
Tiff Willmott our Open Women's League Tag coach also had her side ready to perform, and the club would like to thank them for their dedication in 2020.
With that said, the club are fairly confident that with the immense local talent that the Club has on offer, 2021 will be another successful season for the Lithgow Workies Wolves RLFC.
The Wolves would also like to thanks all their sponsors for their ongoing support throughout this interrupted season, especially the Lithgow Workies Club and look forward to their support in 2021.
Nominations for Coaches for the 2021 season also close this Friday, October 23 for all Grades including; Premier League, First Division, U/18's, Open League Tag and U/18 League Tag.
