ART Sunday Presentation - Coda (2017)
This documentary follows the life and work of the famous Oscar- winning composer, Ryuichi Sakamoto.
It explores and portrays him as an inspirational artist, one of the most important of our era. The documentary was shot over a five- year period during when Sakamoto survived a cancer scare.
It is an immensely moving account of Sakamoto's prolific career over 40 years by Director and Screenwriter, Stephen Schible.

Classic Movie with Sophia Loren: Two Women (1960)
Set during WW11, this film depicts Cesira, a beautiful widow and successful grocery store owner in Rome, looking to distance herself and her 13 year-old daughter from the ravages of war.
They escape to the mountainous village where Cesira was born. There, Cesira encounters a young intellectual, Michele, who falls in love with her.
However, Cesira is too engrossed with their safety and survival to return his favours.
An awful experience occurred while Cesira and her daughter, Rosetta were sheltering in a bombed-out church. After recovering from this horrendous and appalling experience, mother and daughter decided to return to Rome where they encounter more horrors of the war which was far from over.
