The dominant player in the win was Don Lovett who was on fire over the front nine finishing with 22 points.
When he cooled off on the back nine his partner Peter Hall came good to guide the team home and post a winning score of 45 to win on a countback.
Lovett who plays off a handicap of 14 is a much better golfer than his handicap suggests and when he puts it all together can score well while Hall can also go low.
Runners up were Anthony Oldfield and Peter Thompson who also carded 45 points.
The best scratch two ball team went to Andrew Burton and Anthony Boza who combined for a score of 72.
Vouchers went to those with 40 points ocb and better and they went to Ross Harrington and Gary Wallace, Geoff Wheeler and Mitchell Wallace, Hayden and Brad Cornwell, Paul Bosman and Troy Luka, Max Nightingale and Ian Northey, Justin McCann and Anthony Potts, Bob Charlton and Leo Murnane, Don Wolfenden and Ken Mitchell and Gary Keen and Ken Durie.
