Ben Chifley Dam has continued the trend of recent months, rising once again at the weekly reading.

On Tuesday, September 1, the dam was at 92.6 capacity, the highest level it has been at since January, 2017.
It's been a dramatic rise for the dam, which was just below 30 per cent back in February and has since seen a rise of 50 per cent in the past two months, one of the most dramatic rises in the dam's water level since 2002.

And as of September 1 there is a Green Level Alert currently in place for the dam, which means that water related recreational activities are now allowed.
At the same date last year, the dam was at 45 per cent and at the same date in 2018, the dam was at 57 per cent.
Winburndale Dam is at 79.7 per cent capacity.
Water restrictions still remain in place for Bathurst, however, certain restrictions were eased last Friday.
