Lots of players have been showing up for Saturday competition days as well as taking advantage of the carpet during practice.
In the triples championships semi final Mike McNamara, Peter Matchett and Murray Stewart took on Pommie Williams, Barry Jackson and Steve Jackson in what was expected to be a close game.
Jackson got his team away to a great start with consistent draw bowls helping his side to a 8-1 lead.
McNamara came back to trail 7-10 then 9-11 but each time the Jackson team kicked away to keep a 4-6 shot margin.
Leading 15-11 the Jackson team picked up another 6 shots to lead 21-12 and then restricted McNamara to two singles to win 21-14.
In the socials Vee Brown did a great job leading for both sides as she led Kenny Clarke and Craig Pugsley to a 30-7 win over Jack Whittaker and Dave Nunan.
Ron Vidler, Graham Hayley and Ian came good at the right time to defeat Curtis Brown, Des Evans and Craig Brown 214-21 after Brown lead for most of the early part of the game.
