Sphynx Nail Studio owners Belinda Hollington and Suz Mapperson recently opened their stylish new nail studio on Thursday, August 13.
The shop is located at 51 Main Street residing next to Old Dennis Seafood.
With 35 years of nail experience between the two talented ladies, they decided to open a shop after a discussion at a get together, post Covid-lockdown.
"We were having dinner and I said to Belinda that I often think about getting a shop and it might be good to get one," Suz said.
"She agreed and off we went."
The ladies moved into the renovated shop and while unpacking has been the hardest, they said they were ready to go in the nail department.
"The moving left us finding out feet, I even lost a torch," Belinda laughed.
"We are good, ready to go and give you a stunning set of nails."
Belinda said she looked forward to making people happy and feel good about themselves.
"We want to uplift everybody and have them walk out with fabulous nails," she said.
Suz said at Sphynx, the customer would always come first.
"We will try to do anything and everything they ask for so they can come in and leave feeling like a million dollars," she said.
Some of the services Sphynx will be offering include acrylics, hard and normal gel polish, manicures and even men's manicures.
"Anyone and everyone is welcome at Sphynx," Belinda said.
We will try do anything and everything they ask for so they can come in and leave feeling like a million dollars.

Suz and Belinda said they also wanted to support local and encouraged people to drop by the shop, say hello and see what's on offer.
"You don't even have to come in and get pampered, just stick your head in the door and say hello," Suz said.
"We have a local artist's works on display and are up for sale and we are also selling handmade scrunchies by a local lady," Belinda said.
"We've got all this blank space and we want to support people, we don't expect anything from anyone, we just want to help put your stuff out there," she said.
Sphynx is open from 9am-5.30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 9am-late on Thursdays and 9am-12pm on Saturdays.
Clients can book online through the Sphynx Nail Studio Facebook page.
Belinda also assured clients that the studio was a Covid-safe place.
"We are registered with NSW Health as being Covid-safe," she said.
"We have 1.5 metres between chairs, and masks and sanitiser are at the door and we ask no phones on the table as well," Suz said.
