Bathurst MP Paul Toole announced the grant of $89,800 from the Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund (SCCF) for the project.
The makeover will ensure the club's kitchen area meets the Australian Food Standard Code for premises and equipment.
Once the work is completed, Lithgow Golf Club will be in a better position to offer its facilities to the wider community for use by charitable and community organisations, according to Mr Toole.

"It also helps ensure the ongoing longevity of this well-known and popular sporting organisation by having adequate, economic and up to date catering facilities," he said.
Mr Toole also noted that last year Lithgow Golf Club received almost $100,000 from the NSW Government for a raft of improvements.
These included upgrades to drainage and irrigations systems, new cart paths, expansion of the shed and installation of solar panels.
