Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service should, contact Council's Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or alternatively you can register on Council's website.
Then, on Sunday, July 26 residents are asked to leave their bulky waste adjacent to where they would normally place their garbage bin for pickup.
Bulky items will be collected providing they can be picked up by two people and any cases, boxes, cartons etc should be securely tied.
No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.
Residents are reminded that a request for service is required and a booking reference number will be provided once registration is successful.
It is important that material is placed at the correct location by Sunday night and any material not presented by the correct time cannot be collected.
This service is only available to those residents who have a weekly garbage collection service.
