Coach Matt Nunan said the match felt forced with an equal result of 1-1 at full time.

"It's hard to say whether or not we deserved a draw but I'm glad we got it, it just felt a bit forced," he said.

Nunan said Workmen's went into the game confident but Panorama shook them mentally.

"It was a constant battle within ourselves, not so much the opposition.

"I believe the players got caught up in the emotions of the game thinking too much on the rivalry we have with Panorama," he said.

"They're the only team that we know a bit about in this comp and we were not focused enough on playing football."

He said although things weren't going their way, it was a good result in the end to not lose points at home.

"Great effort and full credit to the boys to battle through it all and grab an equaliser in the final minutes," he said.

Nunan said Ben McGlinn was a stand out player, hitting the back of the net in the last minute of the game.

"McGlinn had a good presence on the field today, he played strong with confidence and determination plus scored the equaliser."

He said Workmen's were still finding their feet after a long break with stop and starts to the season and there were things to work on.

"We need to gel more as a team going forward and link up better from defence to attack.

"We need to have more patience when we find possession and not force it," he said.

Nunan said fixtures are looking "pretty hectic" in the next few weeks with a double header next weekend and a Wednesday game coming up.

"We will need to manage our game times and players effectively, to minimise the risk of injuries and hopefully get some good results," he said.

Workmen's will take on Barnestoneworth FC on Saturday, July 25 at Jack Brabham Park in Orange at 3.15pm followed by a match on Sunday, July 26 at Marjorie Jackson at 2pm against Parkes Cobras.
