The winners with a score of 70 points was the team of Harry Bender and Kobe Hunter which was good scoring as they played early through the intermittent showers.
Bender is one of the most improved golfers over the past 12 months and was the major contributor to the win with 36 points.
Playing off a handicap of 1, he went out over the front nine with a two under par 34 and came home with a 37.
Hunter was all at sea on the front nine with 45 but got his game together to register an excellent 37 on the back nine for 34 points.
One point behind the winners was the team of Rob Ritchie and Michael Saville who combined for a score of 69 points.
The best scratch score of the day went to club captain Justin Nelson with a one under par 71.
Vouchers went down to those with 66 and better and they were Brian Judge, Greg Giblett, Ian Downey, Max Nightingale, Mark Willmott, Bill Oldfield, Mark Seckold, Brian Judge, Anthony Oldfield, Luke Oldfield, Brian Bourke, Carlos Garibotto, Dave Titcume, Dave Thompson and Tallan Egan.
Nearest to the pins went to Mark Willmott, Dave Titcume, Harry Bender, Damien Marjoram and Ross Harrington.
The winner of the Wednesday, July 8 nine hole competition was Mark Bennett on 24 points. Runner up went to Anthony Oldfield on 20 points ocb. Third was Brian Giblett with 20 points and fourth Trevor Cameron on 19 points.
Vouchers went to those with 17 points and better and they were Lachlan Sharp, Wayne Morris, Paul Bosman, Mark Willmott, Kevin Hughes, John Bird and Heath Egan.Nearest to the pins were Max McCann and Anthony Oldfield.
The winner of the Friday, July 10 nine hole competition was Dean Stafford on 27 points. Runner up was Brian Giblett on 23 points.
Vouchers (18 points and better) went to Dave Thompson, Mick Bright and Mark Willmott.
