A MAN in his 60s has been charged and will face court following an investigation into alleged firearm offences in Lithgow.

Detectives from Chifley Police District commenced an investigation following an incident at a Lithgow home on Wednesday, April 15, where a firearm was allegedly produced and pointed at a woman in her 50s.
Following inquiries, detectives attended a home in Lithgow about 2pm on Friday, April 17 and spoke to the male occupant.
During a search of the home, investigators inspected and seized nine firearms, ammunition, and five sets of handcuffs.
The man was arrested and taken to Lithgow Police Station where he was charged with 11 offences including:
- Use offensive weapon with intent to commit indictable offence,
- Possess unauthorised prohibited firearm,
- Not keep firearm safely - prohibited firearm,
- Category C, D or H licensee not comply with storage needs,
- Possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit (x5)
- Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (personal)
- Common assault
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Lithgow Local Court.
