Lithgow is the fifth-cheapest place to fill up on unleaded fuel and the third-cheapest for diesel in regional NSW according to the latest data from NRMA.
The average price of unleaded fuel in Lithgow has risen week on week bringing the average price of unleaded to 105.1 cents per litre (c/l) - 1.5 c/l higher than last week.
It's a better story with diesel, Lithgow's average price last week was 114.4 c/l, 1.4 c/l this lower than the week before and ranks Lithgow as the third-cheapest place to fill up your diesel tank in regional NSW. This is compared to Orange which recorded 110.6 c/l.
Average regular unleaded prices in Sydney are now expected to fall to 99 cpl over the next 1-2 weeks.
Sydney's average diesel price is 115.5 c/l, down 0.3 cpl this past week and the average Sydney LPG price is 77.2 c/l, down 0.1 c/l this past week.
Cheapest and most expensive
Similar to previous NRMA reports, Lithgow remains competitive with other centres like Bathurst and Orange. Orange remains the cheapest place to fill up with 100 c/l for unleaded and 110.6 c/l for diesel.
The most expensive tank of unleaded was in Broken Hill at 127.2 c/l and Parkes had diesel at 131.6 c/l.
In regional NSW over the past week average regular unleaded prices rose 1.0 c/l across the board while diesel prices fell 0.2 c/l.
The biggest increases were seen in Casino with a rise of 4.1 c/l, Dubbo with 4.4 c/l and Muswellbrook and Tamworth with 5.5 c/l and Moama 7.4 c/l.
The biggest drops for unleaded fuel were in Armidale with 2.7 c/l and Maitland 3.7 c/l.
