A cliff rescue is underway at Point Pilcher Lookout, near Medlow Bath, of a male climber, believed to be aged 57.

Emergency services were called to the lookout about 4pm yesterday Sunday, May 17 after the man fell while rock-climbing.
The man is believed to have suffered multiple fractures during the fall.
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Rescue, along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, attended and launched a rescue operation; however, that was suspended due to poor light.
The injured man and one of his companions were sheltered in a cave on the cliff face with rescue personnel overnight.
It is expected the man will be lowered to the valley floor before a helicopter extracts him.

The local climber is stuck on a cliff ledge, 60 metres from the top.
A helicopter has winched help down to the climber.
He is believed to have a fractured leg and arm and is sitting on a cliff ledge with a thermal blanket around him and an emergency services worker.
Two others who were climbing with him are safe.
Those on the scene say police and ambulance rescuers have battled with rain and fog and the generally dangerous terrain. They will try to winch him to safety in the next few hours.
