Below is a list of community groups and what they plan to do in the coming weeks.
Lithgow VIEW Club
President Sue Giokaris and committee wish to advise all members that all monthly meetings, social events and musical theatre show have been cancelled until July.

Lithgow Valley Film Society
The Lithgow Valley Film Society wishes to advise that due to the State Government's new restrictions for non-essential services, our cinema will be closed until further notice.
Reopening of the cinema will be announced in the local press and in window advertisements.
Tarana Farmers Market
It is with great sadness that the Tarana Farmers Market Committee have had to announce the Tarana markets for March cancelled.
Lithgow Garden Club
Due to the current situation of lock downs due to the coronavirus, the Lithgow Garden Club is cancelling all meetings until further notice.
Operation Christmas Child
The launch event for Operation Christmas Child on Wednesday, April 1 has been cancelled due to the current climate of social distancing.
The group hopes that people are still able to prepare goods for packing, when they are officially able to meet up as a group.
Sewing something to wear and knitting toys for something to love are still ongoing.
Sport
All outdoor and indoor sporting including soccer, rugby league, hockey, basketball and cricket has been postponed until early to mid April.
This means all club competitions have had to cease training until further notice.
Youth Week 2020
Following significant feedback from the community and growing concerns over COVID-19, Lithgow City Council has determined that the most appropriate course of action is to postpone the planned Youth Week event at the Tony Luchetti Sportsground and Civic Ballroom on Saturday 4 April.
Ironfest 2020
Ironfest 2020 will not be going ahead.
Festival director MacGregor Ross made the announcement on March 16 .
"We, the organisers, are devastated, we will do the right thing by the ticket holders and stallholders who have already paid which is a major hit on the festival's financial viability..." he said.
