Taking on the advice from health services, and indeed the government rulings that demand non essential gatherings of more than 500 people should be cancelled until the COVID19 outbreak is better understood and contained.
The committee have discussed their decision with the Tarana Brigade and RFS who both support the decision made.

The committee said their first obligation was to the Tarana community and to their community of stall holders and visitors.
"Where there is any possibility of the health and well being of our communities being compromised, we will do all in our power to help and protect everyone," their statement read.
As the situation is ongoing, and no-one knows how the next weeks and months will progress, future decisions will be made according to the advice of the health professionals and the committee will keep you posted as promptly as they can.
