CWA members from Leura, Penrith, Portland and Glenbrook shared in celebrations at the Black Gold Motel.
Other guests included members from Lithgow Red Cross, Quota, Inner Wheel, Lithgow Hospital Auxiliary and Wallerawang Exercise group.
A delicious two course meal was served by the ever efficient staff.
The day was a very happy one with much networking and fun. The lucky winner of the raffle was Shirley Hodges of Lithgow Garden Club.
President Margaret Henning welcomed the guests and read birthday cards from several people.
At the conclusion of the day treasurer Sue Holt thanked the staff for their service and wished everyone safe travels home.
CWA member Julia Livingstone was presented with a certificate of service for her years of dedication to the association.
Julia has been president on many occasions, a very good cook and a wonderful knitter winning many prizes at the Rydal show, regional judging and then onto the Royal Easter Show.
