Lithgow Workies Wolves player Cody Godden has taken to the field for his third season in a row with the U23 Western Rams.

The young gun headed to Forbes on Saturday, February 15 to take on the Riverina Bulls but unfortunately had to head back to the sheds with a 24-16 loss.
Godden said he was lucky enough to be selected for his final year of the U23s and the recent weekend was a good one away.
"It was a chance to get the team ready for Country Championships and even though we lost there were no injuries which is always a bonus," he said.
"I just enjoy playing with a good bunch of boys."

Godden said the side still had more training runs and work to do before Country Championships.
He'll also be focusing on club footy with the Workies Wolves.
"I'm looking forward to another great footy season," he said.
Lithgow also had its talented Kye Cameron step out with the U16s side in the Andrew Johns Cup and Cooper Egan in the U18s Laurie Daley Cup.

The boys head to Canberra this weekend (February 220 to take on Monaro.
