Lithgow has been ranked as the number one location for the cheapest regular unleaded petrol in Regional NSW.

In the matter of two weeks it dropped 5.0 cpl.
Tweed Heads South, Goulburn, Gunnedah and the Central Coast followed after Lithgow in the top five cheapest locations to fill up your tanks.
Lithgow was also ranked as the third cheapest location for diesel at a cost of 145.5 cpl.
Gunnedah was ranked as the top location for the cheapest diesel followed by Moama, Sydney and Wollongong.

"It's the cheapest in the region by a long shot," she said.
Ms Ahern said on average people were paying $1.40 in locations such as Bathurst and prices were creeping up out West and in Sydney.
"It'll pay off for motorists if they fill up in Lithgow before heading further out West.
"However fuel prices in regional areas are dropping compared to an increase in Sydney," she said.
"I don't think Lithgow will get much cheaper than this."
Ms Ahern advised motorists to download the NRMA app and check out fuel prices in areas they are travelling to.
"Shop around to find your cheapest option, that 20 cent saving can be decent when filling up a big tank," she said.
