Bathurst MP Paul Toole stopped by the Wallerawang Memorial Hall to inform members they would be receiving the grant to buy new equipment.
Wallerawang Men's Shed president Des Francis, secretary Ian McMillan, local Men's Shed manager Mal McDonald and treasurer Bruce Robinson had asked Mr Toole for the assistance to expand their workshop.

"We needed support to purchase a 20 inch planning machine and Mr Toole made it happen. It means we have the options to make an even bigger range of items at the Shed," Mr Francis said.
"Paul is a regular visitor to the Wallerawang Men's Shed and one of our greatest supporters."
Mr McMillan said their Men's Shed received a Community Building Partnership grant from the NSW Government in March 2018.
The grant of $5885 was used to construct a dividing wall to separate the Men's Shed from the Wallerawang Kids' Club as both organisations share the Memorial Hall.
Mr Toole said the Wallerawang Men's Shed members have been very proactive in growing the club and thanks to what they call "a lot of scrounging" have fitted out the hall with a host of different wood working machines and tools.
"The Memorial Hall had been vacant for the past decade and suffered constant vandalism. Now it's got a new lease of life and that's great for the community of Wallerawang," he said.
The Wallerawang Men's Shed members meets each Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 3pm and they would love to see some new faces.
