Emily Bennett was announced as the 2020 Rydal Showgirl on Saturday, February 8.
The 22 year-old is a production assistant at an e-learning company. She completed her Certificate III in Business Administration in January 2018.
Miss Bennett has been a member of the Rydal AH and P Association for three years.
This year Rydal Showgirl had three entrants including Miss Bennett, Meghan Porter and Kate Mannell.
They took part in a private judging luncheon and individual formal judging session by three Showgirl judges, before returning to the Show for the official opening at 3.30pm where the winner was announced by this year's Chief Showgirl judge Mrs Cheryl Rutherford.
Afterwards, the girls attended the President's Afternoon Tea, which was held in the Showgirl Pavilion.
The Showgirl Competition is open to girls aged 18 - 23 and aims to find a young woman with an interest or involvement in her local community.
The competition encourages the participation in and awareness of young women's contribution and involvement in both local communities and rural NSW as a whole.
Entrants are judged on personality, confidence, ambition and life goals, general knowledge, rural knowledge, presentation and speech.
