Corey Willmott will be stepping onto the field as a player and coach for the 2020 season with the guidance of former coach Graeme Osborne, co-captain Greg Beehan and teammate Kyle Egan.
"It is something I'm still getting use, the boys are making the transition a bit easier," Willmott said.
"But I am enjoying the challenge."
The first grade, which is currently training as one big squad with the other divisions, is just solely focusing on fitness training at the moment.
"Training has been good, from the first league right through to the league tag under 18's, everyone is keen and putting in the effort," he said.

"Everyone is training hard and there's a good feel around the club. Everyone is getting along and since we are all good mates, it makes training a lot more enjoyable."
Willmott said that he believed the strengths of the Workies team will be the same as they have been for a very long time.
"It will be through the middle with our big boys but we will have big outside backs that will be a massive help with our go forwards," he said.
The side is training twice a week on Tuesday's and Friday's at 5.30pm and all new players, boys and girls for all grades are welcome.
They are also hosting a trial match on March, 28 at Wallerawang Oval against the Campbelltown City Kangaroos.
