Harry Bender was in great form at Lithgow Golf Club on the weekend when he returned a seven under round of 65. The event was a single stableford with the Centennial Coal Age Championship.

Bender's 65 off the stick saw him romp in to win the A grade event with 43 points along with the scratch score. Runner up was Greg Guest with 42 points. Best in B grade was Greg Jackson who also took the double when he amassed 42 points and 78 off the stick.
Eli Felton took out both the C grade stableford and scratch registering 45 points and 87 off the stick. Nearest to the pins went to Dave Thompson, Darren Hunter and Trevor Cameron.

Vouchers cut out on 26 points and nearest to the pin went to Jeff Geddes.
