Nicholson is one of the juniors in this competitions and has won many tournaments.

Strikers are a new team in the competition, with four players in the high minus handicap. The team has some excellent players.
The handicap system comes into play in all games in the LASA to make all games competitive.
Red Sox versus Jiggers
T Gaynor (80) defeated S Roberts (43)
S Roberts played well against T Gaynor but late in the game made a few mistakes, which T Gaynor capitalised on.

- R Denley (72) defeated L Rust (41)
- J Lyons (98) defeated D Ford (90)
J Lyons had to give D Ford a huge start, but the handicap system came into play and D Ford took J Lyons to a black ball game.
B Bonus (79) defeated D Adams (38)
B Bonus played great snooker and was took good for Adams.
G Sutton (46) defeated G Nolan (37)
Sutton gave Jiggers their only win, playing consistent snooker, the same as he was doing last year.
Red Sox won 6-1.
High breaks went to B Bonus. Players of the match were B Bonus and G Sutton.
