Ten members went on to compete at the state finals, and six of those progressed to the elite National Grand Finals held at Sydney Town Hall at the end of November.
Amitie Betts (15 years) placed fifth in her section and Zoe Tracey-Gee (10 years) placed forth in her age group.
A highlight of the day was the presentation of the annual Encouragement Award which went to Amira Farr in the 12-year-old section.
