A man will appear in court today after he was arrested and charged over an alleged sexual assault of a girl in the Central West.

In December 2019, detectives from the State Crime Command's Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad commenced an investigation following reports a teenage girl had been sexually assaulted by a man who she had recently met.
On Tuesday, following enquiries, Detectives arrested a 36-year-old man at Condobolin .

The man was taken to Condobolin Police Station and charged with sexual intercourse with child between 10 and 14 years, and two counts of intentionally sexual touch child between 10 and 16 years.
Police will allege in court that the man sexually assaulted the girl - then aged 13 - in the Central West area in April 2019.
The man was refused bail to appear at Forbes Local Court today Wednesday, 15 January 2020.
