The Wallerawang Community and Sports club bowlers have continued on with their 2020 championships with several singles games played.
Joe Menchin looked the goods early as he lead Mark Perry 4-nil and then 6-3. Perry came back to lead 12-8 before pushing out to an 18-14 lead.
A run of scoring ends saw the more experienced Perry take out the game 31-19.
Kim Alexander was a slow starter in his game with Des Francis sneaking out to a 6-nil lead. It took 12 ends for Alexander to draw level on 12 all.
A run of six ends saw Alexander lead 26-13. He maintained this margin as he went on to win 31-19.
Dave Nunan and Daryl Archer put on a show in their singles with both bowlers playing well. They were 5-all after 6 ends as they went end for end for the next 14 ends to finish 17 all on 20 ends.
Archer picked up 8 shots to lead 25-17 and he had the game to hold this lead to win 31-22. After this strong win Archer expects to be a force in his half of the draw.
