You may have seen them located in many of Lithgow's local shops like Sanity, Aldi, Millers, the butchers and more.
Karen Stone has made it her mission to spread kindness to the people of Lithgow all year round, but especially during the Christmas period.
As Karen lives with a disability, creating her 'TV bugs' has helped her with her ongoing anxiety.
"I think Lithgow has a little bug problem," she said.
Using pipe cleaners and cotton balls, the caterpillar-like creatures come in all different shapes and sizes.
"I created them when I was a teenager but then got a job and was focused on that but this year I thought I would start making them again," she said.

Karen said it would take her an hour to make 10 of the creatures.
"It's my random act of kindness, it makes so many people happy when they see them," she said.
Karen has been handing out the bugs for free to the different stores, and has also made them for Ray White's 'A Little Ray of Giving' initiative, and for Gorrie Ban's Christmas party. She has also made some custom bugs in certain football colours for those who ask.
"They are curious little creatures," she said.
So when you are out and about doing your shopping, keep an eye out for these little creatures you may be watching over you.
