Lithgow will be hosting its annual Twilight Swimming Carnival this weekend on Saturday, December 7.

The carnival will be held at the local JM Robson Aquatic Centre.
The age categories range from Under 8's to opens.
"For some of the juniors this is their first competition," Lithgow Swimming Club vice president Peter Evans said.
Multiple swimming races will be held with varying distances and there will be swimmers travelling from numerous places including Sydney to compete.
"The event attracts about 180 swimmers from across the region and about 40 from the Lithgow Swimming Club," Evans said.
