The street will be alive with cheer and roving performers to celebrate the season and encourage everyone to source some of their Christmas presents in local stores.
Santa and his friends; Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf, a Christmas angel, stilt walkers, Christmas elves, jugglers and acrobats will be spreading the Christmas cheer up and down Main Street, and local businesses will be remaining open for late-night shopping from 5.30pm.
Don't miss performances by Lithgow City Band at 6pm in Cook Street Plaza, as well as the Lithgow Highland Pipe Band's special Christmas music set from 7.10pm in the lead-up to the lighting of the Christmas tree at 7.30pm.
