The Lithgow Bears Rugby League Football Club welcomed fresh faces to its committee for the 2020 football season.

The club held its AGM at the Lithgow Workies on Sunday, November 10.
Mark Ward was voted in as the 2020 president. He has had experience being on other committees and been involved with the Bears for the past four years through his son Joe.
"I love watching the game of football and I look forward to bringing my knowledge to the club," he said.
Bears former president Ben Spittles elected to step down for the position due to family commitments, but will still be involved within the vice president role.
Monique Millmore was nominated as the Bears league tag coach. Millmore has been with the club for the last three years and her attitude and aggression for the game is set to help improve the league tag side.
"I am so excited and nervous but I believe in the girls so much and I will be stepping off the field to put 110 per cent into coaching," she said.
Despite hanging up her boots, Millmore said she would be ready to jump on the field if needed.

"I will have my boots if we get injuries and unable to have a full team on the field at anytime, I won't let them struggle with less than 11 on the field," she said.
She also chose to remain as the club treasurer after a successful 2019 season.
The 2020 rugby league coaching role has been secured by Johnny Farr.
Farr has been arounf the football fields for the majority of his life playing some of his senior club matches with the Blackheath Blackcats.
In recent years he's been on the sideline watching his son Zeb rip up the footy field for the Lithgow Bears.
Farr is well known through the community, loves his sport and said he was committed to coaching the Bears next season.
Lauren Stevens will remain in the secretary role however is seeking a vice secretary to learn the new online registrations and results system.
The Bears committee members said they looked forward to the 2020 Mid West Cup season with eight teams so far, selected in the competition.
The club will also be hosting its annual Bears Christmas party and muster day on Saturday, December 21 and are also seeking sponsors for the 2020 season. All are welcome.
