Quota members visited the school to make the donation on November 14, which would help provide the school's speech program.
Principal Vicki Gilmore said, as part of the school's program, two community based speech pathologists from Community Health visit and work with young students, including members of the Puffing Billies pre-kindergarten program.
Students who need intervention for speech correction then have programs designed specially for them.
Next year will mark the program's fourth year.
"It's been great. It helps nip everything in the bud, and correct it before it becomes a problem [for student learning]," Mrs Gilmore said.
Quota International aims to empower women, children, the deaf and hard-of-hearing, and people with speech difficulties in communities around the world.
Fundraising high tea
Quota's fundraising efforts will continue this weekend with Quota's dance extravaganza and high tea on November 24 at 1pm at the Lithgow Workies.
It will feature the talents of ten local dance schools. Tickets are available now online www.outix.co/tickets/events/quota.
