Without exaggeration there are many dangers in simply navigating some roads particularly Bridge St and from there down towards the Eskbank railway and museum etc. Barricades must have been there for years! Why?
Can it be that hard to repair holes if not the road in entirety?
I am not being political or having a go at any organisation in particular but surely we can do better than this.

[Take] care going home from the Valley Plaza as there is a severe pothole coming up towards the lights to re-enter the highway... but this is one of many examples.
And again from Bridge St we have the world's most confusing and dangerous intersection to turn towards Eskbank. Even the lines have long faded as though the Council gave up years ago - have they?
Answers please! In the interests of public safety and order.
