The Lithgow Workman's Club was the venue for the two day Western District Carnival, with 24 teams participating from all around the state.
Lake Munmorah was the winning team, comprising Bev Inwood who was a local from Lithgow before moving, Ann Wilkins and Gail Sheehan defeating the Workman's Club team of Wendy Constable, Sue Metcalf and Cheryl Schram.
Both teams finished with five wins with Lake Munmorah winning on a bigger margin.
The Lithgow City team, with Kerry Bernard June Barnes and Fay King, came in third place followed by Bathurst Majellan and Lawson.
The weather was very kind for the two days resulting in some great games.
Congratulations to Western district president Cynthia Thornton and Secretary Cheryle Wright and the Workman's Club ladies committee on organising a very successful carnival.
