Every day lately on the commute to work or school, we see another structure - whether it's a fence, a wall, a concrete barrier or a sign, pop up on the corner of the Great Western Highway and Caroline Avenue.
The Lithgow Hungry Jack's site is well and truly making its presence felt in town and has residents excited for the opening after an eight year wait.
Hungry Jacks representatives today confirmed the store will be opening on Saturday, November 9 from 6am.
The store will be open until 11pm on Saturday to give everyone a chance to finally sink their teeth into a juicy whopper.

The restaurant was originally programmed to open in time for the Bathurst 1000 race week, but due to inevitable delays involving weather and running into digging troubles, it was pushed back.
Isaac Property Developments director Ben Isaac said, despite the delays, the project was progressing well.
"We are just finishing off the final items and the opening is looking to be this week, subject to no last minute disasters," he said.
