Brown finished with outstanding figures, taking 5-9 after his team sent Lidsdale into bat first.
Lidsdale's opening batsman Brendan Roach made a strong start for his team, finishing with 45 runs. But Brown demolished the top order, leaving the team struggling.
Despite a fight-back from Anthony Dellabosca (14) and Blake Bender (29) in the lower order, the damage had been done. The team finished all out for 121 after 25 overs.
For La Salle, Lachlan Yates (37) and Lachlan McMahon (29) came out determined to make this a quick chase. Despite losing a couple of quick wickets, with help from Josh Amos (16) and Will Brown (8), the team was able to finish on 6-122 after 15 overs.
Lithgow Cougars v Hartley
Jon Cronin and Blake Caldwell teamed up on the back of their Lithgow Lightning rep win on Friday night to lead their Lithgow Cougars team on a successful run chase on Saturday, November 2.
Hartley was sent into bat first, with Shorne Holt (68) spearheading his team's innings.
Unfortunately, he was the only member of the team to make it to double figures.
Cougars bowlers Blake Caldwell, Kobe Hunter and Jon Cronin combined to stifle the batting attack and Hartley finished on 9/110 after 34 overs.
The Cougars lost just one wicket in their run chase, with Jon Cronin caught by Chris Keller for 53 off the bowling of Josh Blanchard. Kobe Hunter (8*) and Blake Caldwell (42*) combined to complete the chase, finishing in just 15 overs.
Lithgow Valley Cricket Club v Portland
It was a quick game when Valley met Portland on Saturday.
Portland won the toss and elected to bat and Sam Cameron continued his solid form on Saturday with a half-century.
Cameron's 57 was a rare highlight however, as wickets tumbled, including three ducks.
The team finished its innings after 17 overs, all out for 78.
Valley bowler Aron Crowder headed the demolition crew, with 4-26. Juzen Takahira took the remaining wicket.
Valley lost two wickets on their way to the total. Eli Felton (43*), Ben Sheehan (14), Nic Kenniff (14) and Nicholas Gardner Miller (5) collected the runs required in just over 12 overs.
Portland bowlers Joel Cameron and Dan Scott each took a wicket.
The duck pond
Hartley's Warren Stevens and Zach Jones found themselves out without score against Lithgow Cougars on Saturday.
Lidsdale's Brayden McCann was bowled for a duck against La Salle, while opposing player Kiran Gajula joined him.
A trio of Portland batsmen found their way into the pond this week; Braith Green, Brendon Miles and Connor Miles.
